London, March 7 (ANI): American scientists have created a new robot that can deliver snacks.
Paul Rybski and colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, came up with the "snackbot" after two years of research.
The 20,000-dollar robot comes complete with laser navigation, sonar sensors and a Point Grey Bumblebee 2 stereo camera that function as its eyes.
A New York Times reporter witnessed the "snackbot" delivering a granola bar.
"Hello, I'm the Snackbot," the Guardian quoted the robot, as saying.
It added: "I've come to deliver snacks to Ian. Is Ian here?" (ANI)
