Lahore, Mar.2 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed security managers, who will accompany the Pakistani team on its foreign tours apart from ensuring security for the board members.
The decision came after the appointment of four new governing board's members in the PCB during a meeting, The Dawn reports.
The PCB has also decided to appoint a chief financial officer to look after the board's sagging financial accounts.
Interacting with media persons after the meeting, PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said Pakistan cricket had suffered an 'irreversible damage' after the terror attack in the visiting Sri Lankan cricket team.
It's almost a year since ( 3 March 2009) the audacious terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team bus took place, but the PCB's inquiry committee, which was set-up to after the causes of the attack, is yet to submit its final report. (ANI)
