Melbourne, Feb 28 (ANI): A new sexy commercial featuring Pamela Anderson has been banned from Australian television.

The advertisement shows the former 'Baywatch' hottie in a gold bikini rubbing against another scantily clad woman while being sprayed with a white liquid.

The Advertising Standards Bureau took the decision to stop it from being screened on televisions, after receiving more than 40 complaints saying that the ad objectified women.

"It's meant to be a cheeky, over-the-top depiction but in the bureau's view it did cross the line," The Age quoted bureau chief executive Fiona Jolly as saying.

However, the company accountable for the ad, Crazy Domains, which registers internet domain names, has decided to challenge the decision.

A spokesman for the Perth company said the ad was no worse than some music video clips.

Also, Crazy Diamond managing director Gavin Collins blamed feminist bloggers for causing the trouble. (ANI)
