London, Feb 28 (ANI): Aretha Franklin has revealed that her new album was inspired by a broken relationship.
The Queen of Soul wrote and produced a few of the songs and is executive producer of the album called, Aretha: A Woman Falling out of Love, reports the Mirror.
She offered a preview of several tracks from her album, which is expected to be released in late March, in a downtown Detroit restaurant.
The singer said that her new collection was inspired by a relationship she was in a few years ago, which "before you know it it became Aretha, a woman falling out of love".
Franklin said that one track planned for the album features a recitation by actor Billy Dee Williams, which she says is 'sizzling'. (ANI)
