Mumbai, Feb 22 (ANI): Friends and family members of the victims of the Pune terror attack took out a candlelight vigil here on Sunday to pay homage to those who had lost their lives in last week's blast.
Participants, holding placards and carrying the pictures of their loved ones, emerged in large numbers to show solidarity with the victims.
They demanded justice as they silently walked through the city streets.
"This is not anger, we just want to tell the people that what has happened to us should not happen again.
We have lost our friends, so we don't want others to lose their friends and families. And the important thing is that justice should be done. People who did this to our friends should be caught and punished, and justice should not be delayed. Justice delayed is justice denied. Catch them and punish them as soon as possible," said Sonal Mishra, a friend of a victim.
Earlier, Bollywood actors Imran Khan, Sonam Kapoor and President of Indian Olympic Association Suresh Kalmadi had paid their tributes to the victims.
German Bakery, the target of the attack, is located in Koregaon Park, close to the Osho Ashram and Chabad House, a Jewish prayer house.
A number of foreigners and tourists including Jews frequent both these places.
The blast that ripped the German Bakery claimed 15 lives so far and injured around 57.he blast is seen as the first major terrorist incident in the country since the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. (ANI)
