London, February 15 (ANI): The Vatican has included the Beatles and Oasis amongst its list of top ten pop and rock albums of all time.
The Holy See's newspaper also gave the royal seal to Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, U2 and Carlos Santana in its "semi-serious" list.
"A little handbook of musical resistance could be useful during this time of the year in which, in addition to having put up with the rigours of winter, we have to endure a rising tide of musical festivals," The Telegraph quoted L'Osservatore Romano as saying in an editorial.
"So as not to be totally overwhelmed, and to remember that an alternative exists, our modest guide can point you on the road to good music," Romano added.
