Harbhajan Singh hopeful of winning cricket Test series over South Africa

Mumbai, Wed, 03 Feb 2010 ANI

Mumbai, Feb 3 (ANI): Indian cricket team's leading off-spin bowler Harbhajan Singh has said that his team looked forward to winning the Test series against the visiting South Africans.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said: "Our plan is to win the series, to keep it very simple and we just need to play good cricket and be positive and play on best of our ability and if we do so, I am sure we will win the series."

The first Test starts in Nagpur on Saturday (February 6) after South Africa opened their tour with a two-day match against a Board President's XI.

India displaced South Africa as world number one in December after securing a 2-0 series victory over Sri Lanka.

South Africa had come close to winning a series in India two years ago when they took a 1-0 lead before the home side squared the three-match series on an unpredictable pitch of Green Park in Kanpur. (ANI)
