Melbourne, Jan 29 (ANI): Australia is in no mood to show any mercy to Pakistan and is keen to secure a 5-0 clean sweep of the ODI series.
Australia, which enjoys an unassailable 3-0 lead, meets Pakistan in the final two dead-rubber clashes tonight and on Sunday in Perth.
"No doubt we want to finish this series winning every game. We have two big games coming up now and that's our goal this series, we want to win 5-0," said Clarke.
Australia has been so dominant in clinching the Commonwealth Bank series that Clarke admits that a cut-throat fight for is his side's great motivational tool.
"Every game you play for Australia is important. A big part of that is because you have guys playing state cricket that want an opportunity," The Daily Telegraph quoted Clarke, as saying.
"You need to keep performing. Momentum is a big thing. It's important we take that momentum into the West Indies coming up. There's always someone trying to take your spot," he said.
Clarke said Australia's thriving reserve stocks meant Australia would be able to make do without arguably the side's two most damaging players this summer, Shane Watson and Bollinger.
"I think we've got a lot of stock at the moment in our team. We've got four very good fast bowlers up there but unfortunately can only fit three in the team," he said. (ANI)
