London, Jan.28 (ANI): The world's first live 3D sporting event will be screened in nine pubs this Sunday.
Sky Sports will beam the Arsenal versus Manchester United Premier League clash to 1,000 fans.
They will watch the game in boozers in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin - using special specs like those worn by Sky Sports host Richard Keys and pundit Andy Gray.
Sixteen high-definition cameras will film the action from a variety of angles at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
The game will be shown on Sky 3D, Europe's first dedicated 3D TV channel.
Station expert Brian Lenz said getting football into 3D was tricky due to pitch size and level of action.
He added: "If we can make it work with the Premier League, we can make it work with anything.
Sky 3D will be available at hundreds of pubs in April. (ANI)
