London, Jan 25 (ANI): It has emerged that professional golfer Tiger Woods' British mistress had pretended she was having golf lessons from an instructor named Jose to keep their fling a secret.
Emma Rotherham, 42, who is a single mom, used the codename Jose whenever Woods' called her up, and she claims the lessons were a cover-up for romps in his Florida office.
Rotherham, who is based in the US, is the 19th woman named as having an affair with Woods, 34, and it is claimed that he had paid her 300,000 pounds to keep quiet about their romps.
"It's been going on for just under two years. She lived very close to him and would go to his Florida office at least once a week," the Sun quoted a source as revealing.
"But she'd tell family and friends she was going for golf lessons with Jose and his name was saved on her phone under that name," the source added.
Rotherham, who lives in Celebration, Florida, has refused to comment, and she is said to have gone "ballistic" after their affair was exposed - and could now face a tax probe over her alleged pay-off.
Under US law, gifts of large amounts of cash must be declared in the same way as lottery and gambling winnings. (ANI)
