New Delhi, Jan 22(ANI) South Korean President Lee Myung-bak will arrive in national capital on Sunday, as part of a four-day state visit to India.
He will be the chief guest at the Republic Day Parade.
Myung-bak is scheduled to arrive at Palam's Air Force Station by a special aircraft and will be accompanied by his wife Kim Yoon-ok and a high-level delegation.
During his state visit (January 24 to 27), the South Korean President will attend the ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday and will proceed to lay wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi at Rajghat.
Later on Monday, the South Korean President will meet and hold meetings with President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna, Chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition (Lok Sabha) Sushma Swaraj.
Myung-bak will also have delegation-level-talks with the Indian Prime Minister at the Hyderabad House, which will be followed by signing of agreements between India and South Korea.
The South Korean President will leave for Zurich on Wednesday morning. (ANI)
