Srinagar, Jan 22 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yasin Malik, who was to address a public rally in Handwara.
Malik had on Thursday asked Kashmiri Pandit migrants to return to their homes, stressing that people of the valley would do everything possible to safeguard their interests.
He told a gathering at Gawkadal on Thursday, "The minorities have stayed back in the valley because of the support and cooperation of their Muslim neighbours."
"The minorities are not here because of government backing," he added. (ANI)
