'Goldenballs' Beckham groped in bizarre TV stunt

London, Fri, 22 Jan 2010 ANI

London, Jan 22 (ANI): A female Italian reporter wearing yellow gloves caused a security scare by trying to grope David Beckham.

According to reports, Elena Di Cioccio tried to grab Becks' Goldenballs for a skit featured on popular show Le Iene (The Hyenas).

The incident happened when the England midfielder, who is on loan at AC Milan, was giving an interview.

A shocked Becks was led away to his car, reports The Sun.

Earlier on the show, Elena had told viewers her plan was to see if Becks' 'bulge' was the real deal.

She said: "Off the pitch we have seen fascinating photographs of David Beckham in his underpants and seemingly very well endowed and even his wife says that he is well equipped and calls him Golden Balls.

"Well the image may have slipped slightly as he has been replaced in the Armani campaign by a younger footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, but we wanted to find out if he was as well endowed as the pictures suggest or if they were touched up."

After the stunt, the TV host presented her findings, explaining: "I touched it but it's small.

"David you have conned us all. What did you use cotton wool? It's all a trick."

However, the star's spokesman dismissed it as harmless fun, claiming Di Cioccio only copped a feel of a handful of trouser leg. (ANI)
