New Delhi, Jan. 19 (ANI): Ahead of Malaysian Prime Minister's official visit to India, Malaysian Human Resource Development Minister S. Subramaniam met his Indian counterpart Kapil Sibal in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak will arrive in New Delhi on Tuesday evening on a five-day official visit.
Razak will call upon Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Devisingh Patil during his visit.
During his visit, India and Malaysia are likely to sign an Extradition Treaty and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for cooperation in culture and tourism.
Razak would hold talks with Singh on Wednesday on several bilateral matters and regional and international issues.
He is likely to seek more seats for Malaysian students in Indian medical colleges.
Malaysia has invited Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to attend the World Islamic Economic Forum to be held in the country in May. (ANI)
