New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Visiting Israelean Deputy Prime Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer met External Affairs Minister SM Krishna last evening.
Ben-Eliezer arrived here on Monday with a 25-member delegation from the fields of agriculture, infrastructure, alternative energy, water, internal security, communications and services.
India-Israel relations have seen a dramatic upswing since diplomatic ties were established in 1992.
Israel has emerged as India's second biggest arms supplier after Russia.
During the period April-December 2008-09, bilateral trade between the two countries stood at 2.8 billion dollars.
India mainly exports gems and jewellery, drugs, textiles and chemicals to Israel, and imports pearls, precious stones, fertilisers, electronic goods and instruments. (ANI)
