London, Jan 12 (ANI): England wicketkeeper Matt Prior is on the brink of helping his team scale new heights with a Test series victory in South Africa.
But that is nothing compared to when Prior climbs Ben Nevis in March.
Prior is ignoring the track on the south of the UK's highest peak in Scotland to scale the difficult north face using ropes and crampons.
His guide is England wicketkeeping coach Bruce French, an accomplished mountaineer, The Sun reports.
As he prepares for Thursday's Fourth Test, Prior said: "Frenchy gave me a DVD called Touching the Void about a famous climb in South America."
"I want to feel what it's like on a summit. I guess there's no getting out of it now," he added. (ANI)
