London, Jan 8 (ANI): Ace striker David Beckham believes that he can help Spanish giant AC Milan win this season's Serie A. avid Beckham impressed in Milan's 5-2 win over Genoa in front of England manager Fabio Capello.
"I think after the first half of the season, we've done well. We are in a great position and we need to continue because Inter are a great team, they are going to keep winning games and they are the team to catch,' The Telegraph quoted Beckham, as saying.
Beckham insisted he was unaware of Capello's presence, but was happy to been given the chance to impress as he seeks to cement his place in England's World Cup squad.
"I didn't know he (Capello) was there, I only found out afterwards. But he loves football and he'll go to every game possible. I know he visits all of the Premier League games and, obviously being in Italy over the Christmas period, he was able to come to this game," Beckham said.
Milan now face third place Juventus at the weekend. (ANI)
