Melbourne, Jan 7 (ANI): Australian cricketers are apparently not able to resist the riches of the Indian Premier League, as 11 of them have been shortlisted for this year's auction.
The likes of Brad Haddin, Phillip Hughes, Doug Bollinger, Peter Siddle and former international Damien Martyn have all thrown in their names for the 2010 season.
Ashley Noffke, Jason Krejza, Ben Laughlin, Graham Manou, Clint McKay, Adam Voges are also chasing IPL3 dreams, the AAP reports.
The Australians made up the largest contingent of international players shortlisted for the auction that allows teams to supplement their squads by adding players on multi-year contracts.
Seven Pakistan players have made the cut for the auction after the lifting of their competition ban, including the likes of Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal.
There was no fresh English talent on offer for the March 12 to April 25 competition. (ANI)
