London, January 7 (ANI): Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has scrapped his slated performance in New Hampshire to give himself more time to beat his painkiller addiction.
The 61-year-old singer, who entered rehab in December to get help for his dependence on prescription drugs, was due to appear at a charity event on January 23.
But the organisers of the solo show, titled Dream On, An Intimate Evening with Steven Tyler, have revealed that the event will be rescheduled over health concerns.
"Our agency and the people working with the artist's management all agree that we want to reschedule this date," the Daily Express quoted Kat Strange, communications director for Child and Family Services, one of the show's sponsors, as telling Blabbermouth.net.
"Given the serious health concerns Mr. Tyler is facing, you just can't pick a day, but that's Plan A," Strange added. (ANI)
