London, Jan 2 (ANI): Hollywood stars brought in the New Year with Twitter messages telling tales of hangovers, partying and New Year's resolutions.
Telly presenter Stephen Fry admitted to having one too many before he even got to a New Year's Eve party.
"Off to NY party now. May be too sozzled to Tweet soon," the Daily Star quoted the QI host, 52, as saying on his account.
But after the boozy confession, he posted another message to followers, saying: "Utter sodden happy lunatic inebriated madness hug to everyone xxx Hickle pickle tickle plop xxx."
Radio 1's Fearne Cotton, 28, made a big breakfast after having pals, including fellow presenter Reggie Yates, 26, over for New Year's Eve dinner.
"Not a great start to 2010. Woke up fully dressed in last night's outfit complete with make-up," she Tweeted.
Tennis ace Andy Murray, 22, was stuck on a plane when the bells struck midnight and his Twitter page said: "Gonna wish you all a Happy New Year now cos I'll be on the plane. Hope 2010 is good for all of you!"
Lindsay Lohan, 23, and Jessica Simpson, 29, also Tweeted in New Year's greetings.
Lindsay warned fans she has more crazy antics planned for this year.
She said: "Wishing everyone a blessed New Year in 2010. Everyone get ready for more (but positive-LOHAN MAY- HEM!!!!!!!!) Thanks for all of your support!"
Jessica, 29, posted a picture of herself and wrote: "Spending New Year with my friends, producers of Precious! Go see! Congrats on an amazing film Sarah (center)."
Actor Ashton Kutcher, 31, decided on a message of peace for his Twitter followers, saying: "Let's make this year count. Let's speak with our minds and act with our hearts." (ANI)
