Sydney, Jan.2 (ANI): Pakistan fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan's antics both with the ball and bat helped his side Tasmania Tiger's smash Westerns Australia by 17 runs in the Big Bash T20 tournament.
First, Rana showed immense talent with the bat sharing a 74-run partnership with Travis Birt for the sixth wicket, which saw the Tiger's setting up a competitive total of 167.
Later, he took three wickets and triggered two run-outs to dismiss Western Australia for 150 in the 19th over.
Speaking to media persons after the match, Rana said he was pleased to perform in front of a huge crowd, which chanted his name each time he hussled in to bowl.
"I love it very much. They are very nice guys. Nice crowd. Lovely people here. I'd be glad to come over here again, inshallah. I have no word for that. I'm very happy," The Dawn quoted Rana, as saying. (ANI)
