Melbourne, Dec 31 (ANI): Aussie model Lara Bingle's Aston Martin sports car is said to have been stolen yesterday in what appears to be a targeted attack.
The 250,000-dollar dark blue 2008 Vantage Coupe, which had been given to Bingle, 22, by her fiance cricketer Michael Clarke, disappeared from a secure car park at the base of the couple's luxurious Bondi apartment block.
"Aston GONE ... KARMA. What a way to start a year ... I want it back," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as having written on social networking site Twitter.
The model was in Melbourne supporting Clarke, who was playing for Australia in the first Test against Pakistan at the MCG, and is believed to have returned to Sydney alone.
The car was stolen from the Campbell Pde complex on December 30, and neighbours reported that other car spaces were also broken into as the thieves searched for the car.
A source close to Bingle, who declined to be named, said she was "shocked" and "frightened" over the incident.
"She can't believe it - she's really upset," the source said.
Adding: "Michael is not here and she's quite frightened." (ANI)
