London, Dec. 25 (ANI): Chelsea's Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti is convinced that countryman Fabio Capello can call on more world-class players than anyone for next year's World Cup finals in South Africa. And that includes five-time World Cup winners Brazil.
Ancelotti names his own trio Frank Lampard, John Terry and Ashley Cole alongside Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Manchester United pair Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney.
"I think England have six top players. By that I mean players who could walk into any national side. There's my three - Lampard, Terry and Ashley Cole. Then there's Rio Ferdinand, who's not having a good time of it now, but who is a great defender. Then Gerrard and I'd put Rooney in, too. Six is a lot. You'd be hard-pressed to find another country with as many in their team," The Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying. (ANI)
