London, Dec 18 (ANI): Despite being one of Britain's most controversial celebrities, Katie Price a.k.a Jordan is deemed so socially important that a new Coronation Street plotline features one of the characters wanting to emulate her.
As part of the plotline, Corrie's Rosie Webster has a career in sight - as Weatherfield's answer to Jordan.
The street's minx will announce that she wants to become a glamour girl, to the shock of parents Kevin and Sally.
Rosie pays to have a portfolio of sexy photos produced to kick-start her career.
But things turn sour when she is exploited by the photographer and he distributes the images without her permission.
Actress Helen Flanagan, 19, who plays Rosie, says she is delighted with Rosie's new storyline.
"This is the perfect career for Rosie, she is like so many girls who read celeb mags and want to be like Katie Price," the Mirror quoted her as saying.
"She is exploited by the photographer, but is not put off. She sees it as a way to make money quick without having to do much hard work," she added.
In a bid to kickstart her new career, Rosie takes a job as a vodka promotions girl, roller skating around the bars firing shots from a water pistol. She also declares she needs a boob job, just like Jordan. (ANI)
