New York, Dec 17 (ANI): 'Real Housewives of New York' star Bethenny Frankel's anti-fur campaign seems to have not gone down well with her fellow reality series' stars.
After Frankel blasted Jill Zarin for wearing fur, Zarin tweeted, "I wouldn't throw stones at glass houses, my love."
Zarin's Twitter comment is viewed as an attack on Frankel's cookbook, which is said to be full of chicken recipes.
A source said, "How can someone who encourages people to buy and eat chicken be a pioneer against animal cruelty?"
However, PETA's Michael McGraw said Bethenny never claimed she is a vegan.
"Bethenny is not a vegan and never claimed to be. She has, however, brought much-needed attention to PETA's anti-fur campaign," the New York Post quoted him as saying.
The 39-year-old TV personality posed for PETA's "Fur? I'd Rather Go Naked" ad, which is being displayed at New York City's Times Square. (ANI)
