London, Dec. 16 (ANI): Brit-Asian boxer Amir Khan has said that he will be avoiding a repeat of golfer Tiger Woods' mistakes with women - despite stunners eager to chat him up.
Having become the WBA World light-welterweight champion by beating Andreas Kotelnik in July, Khan, 23, had girls queuing up from dawn to meet him on a recent public appearance in Birmingham.
But he insists boxing is his top priority and he will not be tempted by girls - unlike World No.1 golfer Woods, who is in hot water after a string of affairs.
"I am going to stick to my clean image as I am so dedicated to my game," The Mirror quoted Khan, as saying.
"I know my boxing comes first and I am not going to sacrifice anything for it.
"I am very dedicated, so I don't want to change anything or mess up over something stupid.
"I know what is right and what is wrong and I don't need distractions," he said. (ANI)
