Perth (Australia), Dec.16 (ANI): Australian and Victorian quick Clint McKay has pledged not to get too funky and to keep things simple when debuting against West Indies in the third Test being played here from Wednesday.
McKay replaced Peter Siddle who withdrew on Tuesday after failing to recover in time from a hamstring injury.
McKay, 26, says he will use every bit of his 194 cm frame to rattle the West Indies' batsmen.
"I will try to use my height and get a bit more bounce and out here (at the WACA Ground) hopefully it will be nice and bouncy and to my advantage," Fox Sports quoted McKay, as saying.
"The biggest thing for me is just keeping it simple. If you get enough balls in the right areas, then eventually success will come your way. I just don't need to overcomplicate things," he added. (ANI)
