Mumbai, Dec 14 (ANI): Designers here attempted to blend Indian and western styles into a trendy bridal wear to woo prospective brides.
The collections showcased at a fashion show here on Sunday, saw models wearing varieties of lehanga with sequins and colourful works on it.
The collection was specially made keeping in mind the elaborate Indian wedding requirements of a bride.
"It would be great idea to showcase Indo-Western line which would give the bride more options of wearing a Indo-Western outfit which is as comfortable and drapes equally well like a lehanga or churidaar," said Priya Kataria Puri, fashion designer.
The show also saw Brazilian model Giselle Monterio walking the ramp for designer duo Monica and Karishma who depicted Indian royalty in their bridal outfits.
"I love the clothes, I love the colours and the crystals on it, there is so much details on, I feel comfortable in these clothes, I feel beautiful," said Monterio. (ANI)
