London, Dec 11 (ANI): Pop princess Britney Spears is said to have been one of the last people to have spent time with wrestling superstar Umaga before he died.
Spears, 28, was in Australia for a series of concerts, and Umaga, real name Edward Fatu, was there as part of the Hulkamania tour, and they both returned to the US on the same flight.
The Toxic singer had remembered Umaga from a wrestling storyline he was part of with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and John Cena on Raw.
Umaga's last bout had been on November 28 against Ken Anderson in Sydney.
"After the match, Fatu returned to the US on a flight with both Ric Flair and Britney Spears," the Sun quoted the Wrestling Observer as stating.
"Spears recognised him even before Flair, telling him she knew him for when he worked with her ex-husband," it stated.
The wrestling star died of a heart attack a week later, aged just 36. (ANI)
