Washington, Dec 10 (ANI): Eminem has been named America's best-selling artist of the decade.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, that lists the top 10 best-selling albums and digital songs since 2000, the rapper sold more than 32.2 million albums bumping the Beatles from their spot, reports Contactmusic.
Although the British boy band landed the No. 1 spot by selling over 11 million copies of their compilation album, 1, the rapper scored two albums in the top 10 spot, handing him the coveted top spot for the decade.
Second on the list was No Strings Attached by Justin Timberlake's now-defunct boyband 'N Sync.
'Come Away With Me' by Norah Jones came third, followed by Eminem's two albums The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show, claiming fourth and fifth place respectively.
