Washington, Dec 9 (ANI): 'Boom Boom Pow' by the Black Eyed Peas and 'Only By The Night' by Kings Of Leon have been named the best-selling digital downloads on iTunes in 2009.
The Black Eyed Peas' anthem claimed the year's top-selling single, beating Flo Rida's 'Right Round' and Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face', reports Contactmusic.
Kings Of Leon's 'Only By The Night' beat out the Twilight soundtrack and Lady GaGa's 'The Fame' to top the album tally.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson was named 'Artist of the Year', 'Only By The Night' the Album of The Year and Lady GaGa the Best New Artist in the iTunes end of year poll.
Best Rock Album honourv was claimed by tThe Dead Weather's Horehound; Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' was judged the Best Country Album and Joe's Signature took home the Best R andB/Soul ALbum.
The (500) Days of Summer soundtrack took 2009's Best Soundtrack title. (ANI)
