New Delhi, Dec 7 (ANI): Top models sashayed on the ramp here on Sunday showcasing exquisite bridal collections that recreated the magic of 40s-90s era of Bollywood.

'Celebrating Vivaha' presented its fashion show, Bridal Ecstasy as a prelude to forthcoming Asia's most luxurious wedding exhibition, Vivaha 2009, to be held here from December 9 to 11.

The designer duo couple Manu and Mamta presented their couture collection, 'Bollywood Diva' to mark the beginning of the exhibition.

The collection has gowns dazzling with semi precious stones and swarvoskis besides Lehengas with stunning embroideries and embellishments.

The duo famous for their eclectic designs and vibrant colours showcased their collection with the colour palette that included tones of reds, pinks and rich colours like emeralds, greens, purples and blues.

Manu said that his collection was created keeping in mind the beauties of 40s-90s.

"Our collection is Bollywood Diva. We have recreated 40s-90s. As you have seen on the ramp, the collection was created keeping in mind all the film stars, Waheeda Rehman, Zeenat Aman and Helen.

Every ensemble has something keeping in mind their personality, "he added.

Well-known model Amanpreet Wahi seemed quite excited to showcase the designer wedding ensembles and jewellery.

"The best part of an exhibition is you get to see creations of so many designers. Usually when you go for a show of only one designer, you get to see only one signature style. There is only one mind behind it with the same creativity and almost same fabric. But here you could see so many designers and their collections, all under one roof," said Amanpreet Wahi.

Tradition met glamour and international styling at this opulent fashion show. (ANI)
