Washington, Dec 1 (ANI): Workers were spotted clearing the snow away on the road that leads to Roman Polanski's luxury resort of Gstaad on Monday, even as Swiss authorities still work out the final tit bits of his 4.5million dollars bail and house arrest.
The Swiss Justice Ministry is yet to reveal the date when the famed film director would be released. Spokesman Folco Galli said some issues were still outstanding.
"If the conditions were met, he would be in Gstaad," Fox News quoted him as saying.
It is also known that the 76-year-old Polanski was finding it difficult to arrange for the huge bail amount.
Polanski's Paris lawyer Herve Temime chose to keep mum over the issue.
The Rosemary's Baby director was arrested on an international warrant in September for having illegal intercourse with a teenager in the late 1970s.
He was granted bail on Nov 25.
The Swiss government is yet to decide if Polanski should be extradited to the US. (ANI)
