Khadakwasla (Pune), Nov 29 (ANI): Chief of Army Staff, General Deepak Kapoor today said it is important to ensure that Pakistan's nuclear weapons does not fall in wrong hands.
Responding to reports that the National Command Authority in Pakistan, which controls the nuclear button, has been handed over to Pakistan Prime Minister Yusouf Raza Gilani. General Kapoor said, "What is more important is to have proper control over nuclear weapons and ensure that it does not go to wrong hands."
Speaking on the sidelines of a National Defence Academy (NDA)'s passing out parade here, General Kapoor dwelled on other issues as well.
On the development of infrastructure by China in Tibet, he said, "It is necessary that we also develop infrastructure on our side" of the border."
Kapoor also added that India has good relations with China and the two countries would soon discuss the border disputes if everything goes as per plan.
"There is nothing to get worried about," he said. (ANI)
