Guwahati, Nov 29 (ANI): Dogs of all kinds participated in the show, organised by the 'Kennel Club of Guwahati' here on Saturday.
Held for the first time in Guwahati, the All India Dog show was a platform of exotic breed of dogs from across the country.
Right from German shepherd to Doberman, Golden Retrievers to Pugs and Miniature Pincher and Miniature Schnauzer to Shetland sheep dog, all kinds of dogs stood in the fray for the coveted prize.
The star attraction of the show was Bob, a seven-year-old German shepherd from Orissa. winner of many national and international championships, Bob is now rated as one of the costliest dogs in the country. His owner was proud of his dog's performance.
"Bob was the 11th rank holder in Germany. He was the dog of the year of 2006 and 2007. He is an Indian Sieger and this year again he is going to participate in the Sieger show.
This would be his last year as he has already grown 7 yrs old. But even after being 7 years of age, he performs like a 2-3 year old dog," said Dheeraj Ramdev, owner of 'Bob'. Around 150 dogs of nearly 28 breeds participated in the show. (ANI)
