London, Nov 20 (ANI): The BBC has been criticised for playing a clip of Meg Ryan faking an orgasm in a show broadcast during the time of the school run.
Steve Harris, presenter of Drivetime on Radio Solent, played the famous recording from the movie When Harry Met Sally while talking about a drug, Flibanserin, being heralded as the female version of Viagra.
"I think we will stop this now. This is, after all, a family show," the Daily Express quoted Harris as saying at the end of it.
The show was criticised by Vivienne Pattison, director of campaign group Mediawatch UK.
"I think the BBC made a bit of an error," she said.
"If you happened to be a parent picking your child up and hearing that, you would either have had to deal with bouts of sniggering or, from a younger child, you would end up dealing with lots of questions," she stated.
But a BBC spokeswoman said: "We've had not a single complaint or comment." (ANI)
