Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and one among the front leaders of Ram Mandir movements Kalyan Singh on November 15 indicated to back on Ram Mandir issue after breaking up the ties between him and Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Roaring at SP supremo Yadav, the 'broken heart' Singh called Mulayam a cheater and opportunist. 'Mulayam has cheated him and his son,' said Singh to the media. He also informed that his son Rajbir Singh has resigned from the post of national general secretary of the SP and primary membership of the party.
Reciting his tie up to Yadav, Singh said, 'it was his biggest political fault.'
"People asked me not to join hands with Mulayam as he betrays and cheats people and he has proved it again today," Singh added.
Responding on the broken 'tie' Singh said that it was Mulayam who called me to join SP to consolidate his position in the Lok Sabha election. He (Yadav) has used his (Kalyan) strong image in the party. But after losing in the election, he is now frustrated.
Indicating to back on basics under saffron brigade, Kalyan Singh recited to refuel the Ram Mandir movements.
'I am proud to a member of Sangh Parivar and only Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) can construct the Ram Tample in Ayodhya. I will soon visit to Ayodhya for the 'darsan' of Ram lala,' Singh inform to media in a press conference.
Kalyan's annoyance came in the response of Yadav's statement on November 14 in which Mulayam stated to media answering the questions about Kalyan singh, "I have said this in the past and would repeat it again that Kalyan Singh was never in the SP, nor he will be taken in the party fold in the future."
Amar Singh, the National Secretary General of SP has denied to make any comments on Yadav's statement. "I am not authorised to comment on this matter. Mulayam Singh has made his views clear on the matter. I did not bring Kalyan Singh to SP. If some people say so, then it is mere conjecturing on their part. I cannot take decisions on his behalf."
