In the wake of extending the route of Delhi Metro to the adjacent areas, Delhi Metro November 12 is set to enter in Noida, the city of Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister of both the state will flag off the trains from the stations.
Since today DMRC will add another feather is its cap when UP Chief Minister Mayawati flags off a Metro Rail from at Noida City Center Sector 32 station to Delhi while on the other hand Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit and union urban development minister Jaipal Reddy will flag off the train from Akshardham Metro station.
The train will be available for commuters since Friday (November 13) 06:30 a.m. with revised fares. Since Friday approximately 53,000 passengers will be added as a daily passergers while the minimum charges of the fare will raise from Rs.6 to Rs.8 and maximum from Rs. 22 to Rs. 30.
There will be 11 stations comprising six in Noida and five in Delhi on 12.8 km route on the Yamuna Bank (New Delhi) to City Centre Station (Noida) route. Out of 12.8 km route, 7 km comes in Noida and 5.8 km in Delhi.
The stations between Delhi Noida are: Sector 15, Sector 16, Sector 18, Botanical Garden, Golf Course, and the City Centre (all comes in Noida) and Akshardham, Mayur Vihar Phase I, Mayur Vihar Extention and New Ashok Nagar (in Delhi).
'This Noida Metro corridor will bring a drastic change for East Delhi and Noida commuters and they will not have to struggle from the heavy traffic', as the DMRC authority stated while speaking on this topic.
