Washington, Nov 9 (ANI): Antonio Banderas is all set to lend his voice to a character in the Spanish animation feature, Goleor, the Scale and the Sword.
Banderas will also plan the cast of the English-language epic, as well as direct the voice talent in the pic.
With a budget of 33 million dollars, Goleor is Spain's first higher-bracket digital 3D movie.
The film is the story of young Goleor, who wants to become a brave knight in the land of Gabilonia, which is transforming from the medieval age of knights and dragons to the modern era of lawyers and bureaucracy.
Helmer Manuel Sicilia has also written the screenplay of the movie.
Kandoor Moon's Juan Molina is producing the flick.
"Goleor" represents "a large step up in ambition," Variety mag quoted director Sicilia, as saying.
He added: "Its budget is five times bigger and it's conceived from the start as an international production."
Production on 'Goleor' will start in January next year and the film is expected to be completed by December 2011. (ANI)
