Mirwaiz Umar Farooq suggests revival of peace process between India and Pakistan
Srinagar, Nov 7 (ANI): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat (Freedom) Conference (APHC) has sought revival of peace process between India and Pakistan to find a solution to the Kashmir problem.
Addressing people here on Friday, Farooq urged India and Pakistan to start the dialogue process at the earliest.

"The issue of Jammu and Kashmir is an issue, is a dispute, it is an unresolved problem and unless this issue is solved politically peace and development in the region is not possible. We always supported result-oriented dialogue process .We want that both nations should start the dialogue process at the earliest," he added.
Last month Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he was ready to hold talks with Pakistan.
Violence in Kashmir has declined considerably after India and Pakistan started a peace process in 2004. India called a pause to the talks after last year's terrors attacks on Mumbai. (ANI)
