Dharamsala, Nov 5 (ANI): Samdhong Rinpoche, the Tibetan Prime Minister in-exile has said that there is no point in reacting to China's condemnation of the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama's visit to the Tawang Monastery in Arunachal Pradesh.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Rinponche said: "I need not react anything. His Holiness is visiting within Indian territory. So (therefore) we should care what the Indian authorities or Indian people are saying. We need not care what PRC (People's Republic of China) authorities are saying."

China on Tuesday had accused the Dalai Lama of seeking to undermine Beijing's relationship with Delhi by visiting the disputed border region.

To a poser on China's objection to the Dalai Lama's visit, Rinponche said that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and it does not need any instructions from the People's Republic of China.

Later, Rinponche also launched Tibet TV, a television channel that has been commissioned by the Tibetan government-in-exile to highlight and project the plight of Tibetans.

Speaking at the function, Rinpoche underlined the need to use the medium of television to highlight the identity and the civilisation of Tibet, which he said are kept alive by Tibetans, courtesy the Dalai Lama.

"To coverage of news and developments in Tibet so that people in Dharamsala are informed about the events in Tibet as well as activities relating in Tibet throughout the world. So this is the reason," said Thubten Samphel, spokesperson for the Tibetan government-in-exile.
