Hyderabad, Nov 5 (ANI): On the eve of 5th ODI against Australia, Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has said that his team could not afford to lose another match with the ongoing seven-match series tied at two-all.

Addressing reporters in Hyderabad, the venue of the fifth ODI match of the series to be played today, Dhoni said, "Team losing the fifth match would find it difficult to come back in the series."

"Now it is three match series because every game will be important, as it has been throughout the series. So it is important not to have an off day. It is very crucial because as the number of games reduces you don't have time to recover. So basically it means every game, every hour you can say is very important for both the sides," said Dhoni.e also said the frontline batsmen would have to fire in unison and not leave it to the lower order.

Dhoni had blamed his batsmen for not being able to chase the modest target of 250 in the fourth one-dayer in Mohali.

"Batsmen need to bat not relying on the lower order batsmen more often. If you are playing with seven batsmen it's always better to you know to get a big score with six batsmen rather then using the seventh one. It's always as the back up batsman," he said.honi backed allrounder Ravindra Jadeja's inclusion in the team. Jadeja has performed well as a bowler but is yet to justify his allrounder tag.

"Well it is important, the number seven slot. He is filling in the space of as a bowling allrounder. He is bowling really well and his batting is also important for the side. Batting at number seven of course you know someone who bats at seven it's not about getting big 50s, 70s, 80s you know it's all about scoring quickly," he said.

Australian medium-pacers Doug Bollinger and Shane Watson grabbed three wickets apiece to inspire Australia to a 24-run win in the fourth one-dayer against India on Monday to level the series 2-2. (ANI)
