Melbourne, Oct 26 (ANI): Nicole Kidman has been blasted by her critics who brand her charitable appearance at a US Congress seminar on violence against women a sham, because the actress' on screen "sex roles betray women in the real world".

The Independent was among several others who slammed Kidman for playing sexually provocative roles that 'betrayed women'.
