London, October 21 (ANI): Matt Damon has said that he is keen to wear director's hat.
'The Departed' star who has acted for the likes of Martin Scorsese and Steven Soderbergh in his 12-year long career insisted that he has been learning the nuances of filmmaking.
"I can't wait to direct. I choose my movies based on the director and so I've been treating the last 12 years like a film school," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
He said: "All the directors I've worked with have been very tolerant of my questions. The next step is for me to try it myself."
However, Damon does not want to rush with his desire, as he currently has interesting projects in hands.
He added: "I'm not in a rush. The jobs that I'm getting not only are really exciting for me as an actor but I'm still working with people that I have a great deal to learn from." (ANI)
