London, Oct 17 (ANI): Sugababes member Amelle Berrabah's treatment for severe depression is said to have sparked fears of the band being disbanded.
Berrabah, 25, is said to have folded this week after trying to cope with yet another line-up change, and will now have to spend at least three weeks in a clinic, believed to be in Turkey.
A friend has revealed the depressed singer is considering her future.
"She may decide the best thing for her health is to quit. Sugababes hasn't been making her happy for a long time," the Sun quoted a pal as saying.
The band's first show with Berrabah, new girl Jade Ewen, 21, and Heidi Range, 26, in Leeds has also been cancelled.
"Amelle has been forced to take an unexpected short break away from the pressures of work following medical advice," the band's management said.
"She will be able to rest and recuperate under expert supervision. We're expecting her to return by the beginning of November," they added. (ANI)
