Melbourne, Oct 17 (ANI): Aussie model Miranda Kerr has slammed claims that she has undergone a dramatic weight loss regime after pictures of her from a fashion shoot in Sydney showed her looking extremely thin.
Kerr, 26, had taken part in a shoot for Grazia magazine on the roof of the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay on October 15, and in the pic, her ribs were clearly visible with her arms appearing twig thin.
"The photo was taken at an angle and I was hunched over in an extreme pose that made me look thinner than I am," the Daily Telegraph quoted Kerr as saying.
"The fact is I have been the same weight for three or four years," she said.
Kerr, who is a lingerie model for Victoria's Secret as well as being the face of David Jones, came under fir from the UK press, with the Daily Mail newspaper labelling her "shockingly thin" and "emaciated".
"This is my natural body weight and I don't want to be scrutinised for just being me, just like someone overweight doesn't want to be scrutinised for just being them," she stated.
Kerr, who has studied nutrition, with her first book on health and nutrition Treasure Yourself set for release early next year, declined to reveal her weight and said she had a healthy diet.
"I am healthy and fill my body with the right foods. I wouldn't be able to travel around the world and work if I wasn't taking care of myself," she added. (ANI)
