New Delhi, Oct 8 (ANI): Australian speedster Brett Lee on Thursday said he hopes to try harder in the Champions League twenty20 tournament, which starts from today, after he missed out on test match in England.
Addressing a press conference here on the first day of the tournament, Lee said that as he was unable to play his earlier matches due to his injuries. He is planning to put his best in the present tournament.
"I didn't play test match in England. I got injured and sort of missed the boat and a couple of things happened. But at this point of time, I can instead play the game of cricket that I am playing and that's one-day cricket. So I will be trying harder in this tournament," said Lee.
Lee also said that the team has been assured that playing in India at present is safe.
Australia has two teams that will be participating in the CLT20 tournament, Victoria Bushrangers and NSW Blues.
The league will see 12 of the world's best domestic teams sweating out for the trophy.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Cape Cobras in the opening match. The final match will be held on October 23. (ANI)
