AR Rahman set for music show in Los Angeles

Nevada (US), Oct 5 (ANI): Oscar winning composer A. R. Rahman is all set to stage a glittering musical show in Los Angeles, according to reports.

And those attending the event would include celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Owen Wilson, etc.

Soul singer P. J. Morton is also expected to participate in this event.

In a statement issued in Nevada (USA), Indian American community leader Rajan Zed welcomed Rahman's show, and said that it would provide another avenue to spread Indian music in the world.

He said that the event would also offer more opportunities for Americans to indulge in the richness of musical traditions of India.

Rahman, who has reportedly recorded sales of over 300 million, was called "Mozart of Madras" by Time magazine. (ANI)
