Washington, Oct 3 (ANI): Legendary singer Nat King Cole's daughters have taken up the task of spreading their father's love of music to future generations.
Timolin and Casey Cole, the youngest daughters of Nat King Cole, are planning to target school programs with the least economic funding - schools with sheet music and instruments that are 20 to 30 years old.
Some schools they visit don't even have music stands.
"He was the first African American to have his own television show, 'The Nat King Cole Show' in 1957," Fox News quoted Timolin.
She said that her father has helped pave the way for younger artists.
The Nat King Cole Generation Hope Foundation will deliver brand new instruments to Florida high schools with underfunded musical programs.
Casey hopes "to help to be able to inspire these young kids and enrich their lives and continue to convince them that they too can do it." (ANI)
