London, Oct.3 (ANI): Lewis Hamilton has rapped Felipe Massa's sensational claim of being stripped of the world title because of a race-fix scandal in Singapore.
Massa claimed earlier this week that he was 'robbed' when Nelson Piquet was ordered to crash in Singapore in September.
The Ferrari racer looked set to win until forced into the pits after Piquet crashed.
But a botched stop left him in 13th place and he missed the title by one point.
The Sun quoted Hamilton as saying: "I'm deeply shocked to hear he's said that. He knows we had a fair battle to the end. It was a tough season, things happened. I feel I won it fair and square."
F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone said: "Nothing can be done about it now." (ANI)
